Deepal S05 Price Revised in Nepal; Now Starts at Rs 53.99 Lakh
Deepal has updated the pricing of its S05 compact electric SUV in Nepal, with the revision driven by ongoing pressure from rising foreign exchange rates, which have increased the overall landed cost of imported vehicles in the market.
As a result, the base Plus variant has become costlier by roughly Rs 3 lakh, while the higher Max trims have also received a similar proportional price hike.
The revised pricing now begins at Rs 53.99 lakh for the Plus variant, up from Rs 50.99 lakh earlier. The Max variant is now priced at Rs 59.49 lakh for the Black interior and Rs 59.99 lakh for the Orange interior, compared to its previous price of Rs 57.99 lakh.
The S05 is powered by a 99 kW electric motor producing 320 Nm of torque, paired with a 56.12 kWh battery pack that delivers a WLTP-certified driving range of 405 km, with an NEDC figure of up to 470 km, making it a competitive option in the compact electric SUV segment in terms of both performance and efficiency.
In terms of dimensions, the S05 measures 4,620 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, 1,600 mm in height, and offers 175 mm of ground clearance, complemented by 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels that reinforce its modern SUV stance.
The exterior design includes a shark-nose front fascia, frameless doors, flush door handles, star-feather LED taillights, an illuminated rear logo, and a 1.9 m² panoramic glass roof, giving it a distinctly premium and futuristic appearance.
The cabin is focused on comfort and technology, featuring leatherette upholstery, 64-color ambient lighting, a 14-speaker Sky Surround Sound System, heated and ventilated front seats, a Queen Co-Pilot Seat with zero-gravity positioning, and a 159-liter front trunk.
A 14.4-inch central touchscreen provides internet connectivity along with access to apps such as Spotify, YouTube, Amazon Music, and live navigation, while the Deepal app enables remote AC control, charging management, and vehicle tracking.
Safety and convenience features are handled by Remote In & Out Parking functionality, ADAS 2.0 offering 19 safety functions, and an Augmented Reality Head-Up Display enhancing driver awareness and ease of use in complex driving conditions.
The S05 is also equipped with the CATL Golden Shield Battery System 2.0, designed for durability with up to 5,000 charge cycles, fast charging from 30 to 80 percent in around 15 minutes, and over 85 percent range retention even in extreme cold conditions down to -20°C. Additionally, a 6 kW Vehicle-to-Load function allows the S05 to power external devices, adding practical utility beyond driving.
